This Privacy Policy describes how PAIROA LTD handles personal data when you use Aiimii, and the rights you have over your data.
1. Who we are
Aiimii (the "Service" — our mobile application and website at aiimii.ai) is provided by PAIROA LTD ("PAIROA", "we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England & Wales under Company No. 17274815, with its registered office in London, United Kingdom. For the purposes of data protection law, PAIROA is the data controller of the personal data described in this Policy.

2. Who can use Aiimii
Aiimii is strictly for adults aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you are under 18, do not use the Service. See section 11.
3. The data we collect
We collect the following categories of personal data:
- Account & identity data: email address; your age and your confirmation that you are 18 or over; display name or nickname; gender; and the sign-in identifier you choose (Sign in with Apple, Google, or email verification code). We do not require a phone number.
- Profile and "needs" content: the descriptions you write of who or what you are looking for and what you offer, preferences, interests, and any other information you choose to add.
- Photos and media you upload.
- Messages and communications you send through the Service (for example chat with a matched user) and communications with us (e.g. support requests).
- Matching and usage data: matches, actions you take in the app, features used, and similar activity data.
- Device and technical data: device type and identifiers, operating system, app version, IP address, language, approximate region derived from your IP or that you provide, and diagnostic/crash data.
- Optional data you choose to provide (for example a more precise location to improve matching).
You do not have to provide all data, but some features will not work without certain data (for example, you cannot be matched without a "need").

Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have assessed that those interests are not overridden by your rights; you may object as described in section 10.
5. AI and automated processing
Aiimii uses artificial intelligence to read the text you write, structure it, generate suggested wording, compute matches, and help moderate content. AI-generated or AI-assisted content is identified within the Service where required. These processes support, and do not replace, the Service we provide to you under our contract. We do not use your data to make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects on you based solely on automated processing without a lawful basis and appropriate safeguards; where any such processing applies, you may request human review by contacting us.
6. Who we share data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as follows:
- Service providers (processors) who process data on our behalf under contract, including: cloud hosting and storage; in-app messaging; transactional email delivery; AI text processing, transcription and content moderation; image moderation; authentication (Apple, Google); and analytics/diagnostics. These providers include, for example, cloud hosting and storage (Google Cloud), our transactional email provider, our AI text-processing and content-moderation provider, our image-moderation provider, our in-app messaging provider, and authentication via Apple and Google. Some may process data outside your country (see section 7).
- Other users — before a match, other users may see limited, AI-summarised information derived from your ‘need’ in the Plaza feed (for example a short summary, interest or lifestyle tags, and your city or area). Your full profile, and the ability to message you, are shared only when you and another user mutually match.
- Legal, safety and protection — where we believe disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with law or lawful requests, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights, safety or property of PAIROA, our users or others.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganisation or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality.
7. International transfers
We operate internationally and our providers may store or process data in countries outside the UK/EEA, including the United States. Where we transfer personal data outside the UK/EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement/Addendum, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or an adequacy decision. You may contact us for more information about these safeguards.
8. Retention
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out above, including to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account (see our account deletion page), we delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required or permitted by law to retain certain data (for example for safety, fraud-prevention, financial or legal-compliance purposes). Residual copies may persist in secure backups until they are overwritten on our regular cycle.
9. Security
We use technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data, including encryption in transit and access controls. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials and device secure.
10. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to: access your data; request rectification of inaccurate data; request erasure; request restriction of processing; object to processing based on legitimate interests or to direct marketing; request data portability; and, where we rely on consent, withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior processing). To exercise any right, email [email protected] from the email associated with your account; we may need to verify your identity. We will respond within the time required by law.
If you are in the UK, you may lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO, ico.org.uk). If you are in the EEA, you may complain to your local supervisory authority. We would, however, appreciate the chance to address your concerns first.
11. Children
The Service is for users aged 18 and over only. We do not knowingly collect data from, or direct the Service to, anyone under 18. If we become aware that we hold data of a person under 18, we will delete it and close the account.
12. Cookies and the website
Our website uses only essential cookies/technologies required to operate. We do not load non-essential or advertising cookies without your consent. Our website also loads web fonts from Google Fonts, which involves a request to Google’s servers so the page can display correctly; this is used solely to render the site and not to track you. If we introduce analytics or advertising tools in future, we will update this Policy and obtain consent where required.
13. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you (for example in-app or by email). The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
